I wrote a book and it’s out now
Well! Here we are. I made it through this alive, and now you get to enjoy my writing in paperback form, or savagely tear into me — your choice!
The Street Poet is finally here, and the responses so far have been positive. I think. Just four days after the release and a whopping number of people have made orders! It feels strange knowing there are people out there reading my words. I doubt I’ll ever have a peaceful sleep again. But that’s just being a writer, isn’t it?
I have more projects underway, but I’ll save that for future updates.
Let’s focus on this update.
I went ham on this release, I really did. I gave it my everything. I learned everything I knew from Euan Mitchell’s Self-Publishing Made Simple (tailored for Australian writers like myself) and the Writers’ & Artists’ Guide to Self-Publishing. I went the full nine yards. An engaging cover, or so I’m told by readers. Unique promotional material (HULLO? I recorded a whole spoken word ALBUM on SPOTIFY for this book!). I even got my book into bookstores around Melbourne.
So now my baby is yours. Do with that what you will.
